I may have said as much aloud had she not touched me. Her hand curled around my upper arm, the grip both punishing and thrilling, and hopefully an indication she had no intention of letting go. Stilling, I waited, but Claude didn’t make a move. If she didn’t, I certainly was about to. “Your body tells me one thing—your words another,” I breathed against her, my voice hoarse with need. “For God’s sake, at least make them match—”
“Don’t bring God into this.” Claude traced circles against the thin fabric of my dress, and I bit my lip to keep a moan from slipping out. “I want you screaming my name, not his.”
